Indiana Gemstone Scrapbook Layout
Hi, Connie here with a scrapbook layout using the, very cool, Stargazer Collection by Paper House Productions. I love the rich colors in this collection. The purple tones are strikingly beautiful, and pretty close to a real gemstone!
I used these photos, of my granddaughter experiencing the Indiana Page Program firsthand. She is a gem, our gem!!!
The inspiration, for this page, is the word gem. The design uses two different papers from the Stargazer Collection. I cut one down the middle. It is adhered to the gemstone paper, along with border paper and Stargazer washi tape to create the center focal point for the scrapbook page. A small banner was created using paper and foil stickers from the Stargazer Collection. I love how it showcases the photos.
A journal pocket was created for the details of the day. I also used this spot to journal my thoughts about this experience and how proud we are of her. I created another information pocket on the back of the scrapbook page. I printed information about the program so others can read and learn about this great opportunity.
I covered a vintage library card holder, with theStargazer papers and cardstock stickers to create this pocket. This idea can be used to hold information, tickets, or extra photos from special day. It was easy and looks so cute!
This is such a gem of a collection and can be used to showcase all the stars in your life.
I have one more scrapbook page to share. This one was created using leftover paper and stickers from the scrapbook page above! I love what you can create with a few cardstock stickers and paper.
Pieces of paper make for an easy little banner for the corner of the page.
So don't throw away those bits and pieces! It doesn't take much to create a great scrapbook page!
