Stargazer and This Is Us
Hello! Samantha here with a layout that combines Stargazer and This Is Us. As if I didn't love Stargazer enough already, using embellishments from This Is Us opens up even more possibilities for scrapping with Stargazer!
Supplies: Stargazer Foil Paper, Galaxy Foil Paper, Stargazer Micro Stickers, This Is Us Empowerment Weekly Kit
When I saw the This Is Us Empowerment Weekly sticker book, I immediately thought of Stargazer. They both use the same beautiful deep blues and purples and have fun pops of gold throughout.
I had some photos from a recent trip to an indoor adventure park (trampolines, zip lines, foam pits, ropes course, go carts, climbing walls), and thought the colors from some of the photos would pair well with Stargazer as well. Usually I find it a bit hard to scrap these darker photos, but Stargazer always makes the perfect background for this type of photo.
I like to pair a darker print from Stargazer with a print that has a bit more white and gold. So for this layout, I used Galaxy foil paper as a lighter frame for the darker Stargazer foil paper. I mirrored this light and dark by matting my dark colored photos with a brighter frame.
I used stickers from the This Is Us Empowerment Weekly Kit to add journaling, to frame photos, and to add some dimension with layers of coordinating stickers.
I felt like the space between my photos needed a little something more, so I added some coordinating star and heart stickers from the Stargazer microstickers. I tried to keep the placement of microstickers random to have them match the free form galaxy feel of the paper.
