Personalizing a Travel Scrapbook Layout

Hello! Samantha here with you. We recently returned from a trip to Germany, so today I want to share a little about personalizing a travel layout.

Explore Your World is everything I want in a travel collection for scrapbooking: fun patterns, all-inclusive travel themes, beautiful words, and a gorgeous color palette. I prefer generic-themed travel collections so that I can use them over a lot of photos on multiple layouts from a trip of any kind. I then customize my layout with more location-specific stickers and embellishments.

Since Paper House has so many great stickers (seriously my favorite thing about Paper House is the amazing variety of stickers), you'll never have a hard time finding just what you need to customize your layout. I used alphabet stickers to add the name of the town. Because the town has two names, I used two different styles of stickers to add to the fun. Next, I used a Germany 3-D sticker to tie it all together. The mix of card stock stickers and 3D stickers adds texture to the layout as well. Our trip was overseas travel, so I stuck with geotag, map, and airplane themes for the rest of my embellishments. If you're scrapping a beach trip you could use embellishments from collections like Sundrenched for a different kind of personalization.
