Hello! Samantha here today with another layout using some of the newly released papers. I wanted to showcase how easy it is to mix and match these papers and how beautifully they coordinate across collections.
At first glance, a lot of these papers are perfect for scrapping things like weddings, but what really stands out to me about these new papers is how versatile thy are. Their soft colors and botanical feel makes them wonderful for family histories, vintage photos, baby photos....the list goes on. For this layout I mixed and matched the papers to scrap a celebration.
This past year my husband was honored as the alumnus of the year at his college. He is not one who likes to have a big fuss made about him, so it was a unique bit of fun to be able to celebrate him and his accomplishments in his field. I'd been waiting for the right papers to scrap some of the photos from the event.
I layered up multiple pieces of patterned paper and created a journaling tag from a square of Coastal Waves Tags paper. The subtle blue wood grain makes the perfect space for journaling.
To customize the the layout I used some stickers from the Dad Mixed Sticker Pack. The mixed sticker packs are really fun because they use a mix of clear stickers, chipboard stickers, and card stock stickers. They help with the theme of the layout and add a lot of texture and dimension.
