How to Mix Embellishments to Create Texture
Hello! Samantha with you today to share a layout using embellishments from my favorite new planner collection, Great Outdoors. Mixing embellishments to create texture is a fun way to add interest to any layout.
Supplies: Outdoors Stick on Pockets, Outdoors Rice Paper Border Stickers, Outdoors Planner Stickers, Outdoors Epoxy Stikcers, Outdoors Puffy Stickers, Southwest Adventure Paper Crafting Kit, Marbleous Paper Pad
These new Stick On Pockets are one of my favorite ways to add texture to layouts. They're a bit plastic-y (so they're strong) which also gives them a bit of a vellum look. For and even more interesting look, I layered up 2 pockets on top of each other. 
The grouping pictured above mixes patterns already printed on the patterned paper, rice paper border stickers, planner card stock stickers, and epoxy stickers to create a cluster of embellishments that's visually interesting and draws you into the layout. 
Carrying a mix of embellishments (epoxy, card stock, puffy, etc.) throughout the layout helps keep the layout looking cohesive.
