Celestial Graduation Scrapbook Layout

by Paper House

Hello! Today I'm sharing a project created with the new Stargazer collection.  This collection of papers, stickers, and washi tape is magical. The gold foiling brings a feeling of elegance to the papers. This inspired me to create a graduation layout page for my daughter.  She is graduating with her Master's Degree and the papers complimented her confetti picture perfectly.

I began building my layout by cutting the large, galaxy circle and adding it to some basic white card stock. I splattered some paint on the white card stock to add a bit of character to the background. I used black, purple, and gold paint to create the paint splatters.

I inked up a sheet of paper with some black, purple, and blue Oxide Inks, and splattered it with some water and white paint. I used this sheet to cut out the extra stars on my layout page. This was a fun way to create some extra embellishments which coordinate with my layout, however, don't blend in. The extra stars were die-cut and layered on some gold paper.

The coordinating stickers to the Stargazer collection made it easy to add all of the inspirational phrases to my layout page. I simply mounted the stickers on foam for added dimension. The diamond and smaller stars are also from the same sticker pack.

A bit of coordinating paper was added to the corner of my layout page to frame the "Dream Big" title of my layout page. I sprinkled in a few bling stickers from the stash for a finishing accent.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
