Camping Scrapbook Layout Featuring Hand Stitching
I am super excited to be starting my adventure with Paper House Productions today featuring some of my favorite techniques. I was really inspired by the Marbleous and Color Washed 12x12 paper pads and knew that I wanted to use them to create a unique, hand-stitched element on my page. Hand-stitching is one of my absolute favorite design techniques!
For this project, I printed an online image of a vintage trailer and used it as a pattern to create my own vintage trailer to include on my layout. The Marbleous paper pad was a perfect place to start with building the foundation pieces of my trailer. Then, I grabbed the Color Washed paper pad to include some bold accent details. I created a coordinating title element from the same paper choices and used my tab and label punches to create some embellishment clusters.
I used the washi tape from the Summer Fun Life Organized collection to keep a subtle repeating design element throughout the layout. Adding a few puffy stickers and label stickers completed my look. I am SO excited about how this layout turned out and hope that you feel inspired to look at your paper pads in a new light!
I really hope that you will join me over on
my You Tube channel
where I talk a lot more about how I took these gorgeous patterned papers and created a hand-stitched, unique element on my page. https://youtu.be/J_D3EljAi8k
