Camping Nights in Pockets

by admin

Hi crafty friends! Natalie here with you on this last day of September sharing my favorite way to include numerous photos on a scrapbook page. I love to use pocket pages. They can house so many pictures without any hassle of figuring out how the layout will look.

I used the Camping Tags Double Sided paper as some of my pocket cards. I backed my smaller photos with papers from the travel paper collections.

Those adorable Great Outdoors Epoxy Stickers are the perfect tiny embellishment for a 3x4 pocket.

Using this Discover USA paper dictated the colors in my layout . I printed these 2x3 tiny photos 4 to a 4x6 photo collage & they work great for pocket pages.

My rules for pocket pages are typically to keep from putting two full 3x4 photos right next to one another, as well as break up the pattern paper with some solids.

I usually fit all of my journaling onto a specific journaling card, but sometimes I will add extra snippets with small photos on a tiny die cut tag.

Repeating this fun patterned Passport Stamps double sided page in another 3x4 pocket, along with the stripes of the same colors in the 4x6 pocket, helps tie in the rows.

I love how well these Great Outdoors Puffy Stickers are the best size for a 3x4 pocket!

I hope you've been inspired to create a pocket page - they're such a great, easy, quick way to document some of your memories. I love to combine them with a 12x12 traditional layout!
